HERE COMES THE BRIDE..

Did I fool ya with the title ? ;) Still no proposal, so you can all breathe now, or close your "OMG!" text message if you're my mother.. After being asked the question: "What kind of wedding would you want, IF you got married?" numerous times, I decided to devote an entire blog post on how my wedding WILL one day go. J, if for some reason you are reading this, that proposal can come at any time.. ;)

Since I can remember, I've dreamed of how my wedding day would go. A huge dress. A church. A big veil. 400 of my "closest friends and family." Etc. Etc. The list goes on.. you know the drill! This image has stuck in my mind of what I believe a wedding "should" be, until I met J & Cash. After meeting the one person who I never want to go a day without, and giving birth to the most amazing person I've ever seen (LITERALLY!), the thougth of a sharing such an intimate day with ANYONE but these two people, no longer completes "my dream." Don't get me wrong, I have NOTHING against huge weddings; in fact, I LOVE attending weddings, but I don't feel like a huge production for MY wedding day would be as significant as spending it with the two people that matter most. No drama. No family bickering. No bridesmaids. No groomsmen. Just me, J, and our little mini me. If you think I mean spending this "intimate" affair at the Justice of the Peace.. you are SADLY mistaken! ;)

We'll travel for a week somewhere tropical & luxurious.. Like the U.S Virgin Islands.. or Cabo..

We'll hang out by the pool.. or Ocean if we choose.. whatever floats our boat ;)

We'll have an intimate ceremony with just a minister, the two of us, a top notch photographer flashing away, one seasoned violinist playing "Ave Maria" and Cash AKA "#1 Ring Bearer" somewhere secluded and lit by candlelight, but NOT on the beach (CLICHE!) Somehwere like this:

I'll wear this Monique Lhuillier gown..

And carry this classic white bouquet..

After exchanging vows we'll eat in a private winery..

And spend the rest of our trip right here:

 

Or outside of our suite, soaking up some sun..

And there you have it! We'll all come home with matching bronzed skin & matching last names! MY idea of the perfect wedding..
