As much as I love when it starts to get cold out, I can't help but be O-V-E-R this weather lately! 24 degrees with NO chance of snow seems pointless to me. At least when it snows I can pretend like it's still Christmas, because snowmen, Home Alone 3 and songs like "Baby, It's Cold Outside" are completely permittable. Can we skip over spring & just get to summertime already?! I can't wait! Although, in all honesty, I should wait. Like a couple of months. Like until I have my bikini bod back.. I started swimsuit shopping because I do it 100% online and want to have them in by March when it starts to heat up. Although I love a good bikini (I always buy ONE expensive, good quality one each summer and then a bunch of cheap mix & match Target tops & bottoms!) I decided that it's probably smart to invest in a good one piece this year. This is NOT because I'm ashamed of my body (regardless of how I look by summertime, I'll be rockin' a two piece!) but I think it's important to be slightly tasteful when taking Cash out for public swims. I think I found "THE ONE":
Fabulous, right?! Love the monochromatic look, and the fact that it has built in slim wear. Count. me. IN! This beach bod isn't coming out of thin air, and I REFUSE.. I repeat, REFUSE to diet, so I'm forcing myself to add a little Jillian into my life.. I've had this DVD for about 4 months now.. Guess it's time to put it into good use, before Cash adds it to his collection of scratched DVD's. I'll let you know how "shredded" I am in 30 days.. Jillian, PLEASE try to be easy on me!
Surprisingly, everyone seemed to love my short & hardly sweet rant the other day about J's behavior. I couldn't really believe the overwhelming amount of people who responded in SURPRISE that they weren't the only ones going through this. Excuse me? What kind of friends do ya'll have?!? Obviously liars if they act like they don't go through the SAME things! No relationship is perfect, and we all have those days where we want to just backhand our significant other.. Mine aren't very frequent, but when they come.. they come STRONG. I promised J that I wouldn't continue blasting him on my blog. He's a great daddy and a great man to me.. as long as he never does these things again:
1. It's bad enough to drink sweet tea in a champagne glass, but leaving it out for two days is even worse. Pick up your drinks, P.Diddy!

2. Pardon the blurry action shot; he was pretty pumped about his new toy. Yes, that is a Bud Light box.. Yes, it was left out for our 16 month old son to play with. No big deal.
3. He picked out this cheese. NEVER cheap out on cheese.
As I said in the last blog, at least we know he's not gay or friends with the fairies..Anyway, FOOD TIME! If you're anything like me, you're not a fan of "pies" unless they're dessert. It had nothing to do with taste, but simply because the thought of eating something hot in a pie crust freaked me out. You'd be happy to know that I have finally switched to the other side, and it's ALLL because of this Chicken Pot Pie recipe. I don't think I've tried another homemade before, but I've DEFINITELY tried the store bought which can't be too terribly worse. This one blew ANY pot pie I've ever had out of the water..Oh, and did I mention that it's probably the EASIEST recipe I've ever EVER featured? See for yourself & let me know how it turns out!

P.S. Just found a new option on here to sign people up for a mailing list. That way, when I post a new blog, it'll send you an email as soon as I do it. Trust me, I know I'm not THAT interesting..but if anyone would like to be added to the "VIP LIST" (not really called that, but it should be!) comment with your email! Gracias
Enjoy!
I think I've featured YummieTummie before, but if you missed it here's your chance. I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS LINE! It is the future's line of slimwear, and although it's not very popular yet.. it deserves to be! They literally suck in everything, stylishly AND COMFORTABLY, and they give the best silhouette. I own the plain white Yummie Tummie Extra Long tank, and I want more.. They are DEFINITELY worth the price, because they last long and you can pair them with anything. I'd suggest getting the plain white or black to start your collection. Please, please, PUH-LEEEZ check these out. Free shipping until Valentine's Day with code FREESHIPFEB14. If you haven't thought of a Valentine's gift request yet, ADD this to your list. You won't regret it!
I'm not a fan of alot of things, but GIVING BACK is definitely something that I take pride in. I don't do it nearly enough, but being completely & utterly selfless for a cause makes me feel better than anything else in the entire world. Three years ago, I took a trip to Belize with my Dad. I never could have imagined that a trip to Central America, with crystal clear water, white sand & a blazing sun waiting for me to tan under could've provided the type of experience that it did. I volunteered at a Children's Home for Physically & Sexually Abused children. The entire home was about the size of my then living room and it housed 20 of the sweetest kids I've ever met. The trip wasn't about taking pictures. In fact, I stayed away from my cell phone, camera, laptop or any other contraption I brought on the trip because I was so overpowered by the impact I had on these children, by simply talking to them & playing with them. Here's the pictures I DID get..
This continuous run on sentence had a purpose, I promise ;) Although I can't always fly to Belize when I'm feeling generous, I like to help out every once in awhile in small ways. I stumbled across these "Two Degrees" bars, and I was instantly hooked. They come in yummilicious flavors like Apple Pecan, Cherry Almond & Chocolate Peanut, they're made of 100% all natural & fresh ingredients, and the icing on the cake: For every nutrition bar you buy, they give a nutrition pack to a child. These nutrition packs filled with Ready To Use food do not need water or refrigeration and have been 95% successful in treating severely malnourished children. SIGN. ME. UP. They come in boxes of 9 bars for a little over a 20 dollar bill, or you can buy a "Virtual Bar" like I did, and a nutrition pack will immediately be sent to a child. NOTHING feels better than this!
