WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD! As of... NOW! my blog will no longer be "STYLISH MOMMY" but will be a personal blog about my life, "STYLISHLY STORMI!" I will still offer tons of my favorite products, recipes & tips, but want to focus on MY LIFE a little more. So for all of my 14 (if even THAT many?) faithful followers, WELCOME TO STYLISHLY STORMI! Let's backtrack a little bit. Grab a glass of wine, and sit back for my fabulous adventure. It all started my senior year of high school when I met the man of my dreams.. (we'll refer to him as J periodically throughout this blog!) With the friendship/relationship fresh, I decided to move to Dallas to a University to start my life there.. but my heart remained in Houston. Fast forward several years later, and we have a one year old perfect little boy named Cash, and a home back in South Texas where I belong. The proposal/wedding step was left out of this amazing journey (you'll hear me b*tch plenty about that throughtout this blog as well!) but I know I'm with the perfect person for me, and knowing that is worth alot more than, say, a 1.5-2 carat princess cut solitaire that better come sooner or later ;) This blog will follow my not so ordinary life as a stay at home mommy, fashionista, part time cheer coach, chef, maid, chauffer, beeyotch, girfriend, comedian and babymama! Welcome ;)
..and now for a picture narration of what you missed..
Us pre-baby: When the most of our worries was what to wear out that night, or if my pumps matched my nails..
Speaks for itself: large, whale-like, gargantuous.. the list goes on and on. I had a fairly easy pregnancy, minus the summer Texas heat. I always got the "CUTEST PREGGO CHICK EVER" comments, but at the time I felt like it was all torturous sarcasm because I felt like a cow.
My perfect little angel Cash on his first day of life: October 15, 2009. I went into labor 5 days early and 12 hrs later, I delivered him vaginally after only pushing for 15 minutes.. Doctor said I must have "baby making hips.." Pshhh.. way to put it nicely ;)
