HOW BOUT THAT BLOG MAKEOVER!?! If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I have a serious love for all things Christmas.. And since Thanksgiving week is approaching, it’s only fair that I’m allowed to redecorate my blog, too! J has one (count em’!) ONE off day from work this month, so we decided to get away and take a quick trip for some quality time before the holidays begin.. Our destination: SAN ANTONIO! We plan to stay at a nice hotel, eat some good food, and hopefully have a quiet, RELAXING time with NO cheesy trips to the Alamo! Unfortunately, what else goes hand in hand with a getaway than PACKING?! My most dreaded event of all.. I think most of my life I found a way to sneak my way out of packing my bags by convincing my mom do it for me... That extra practice would’ve come in handy, because I’m not only packing for myself now, but THREE! And not just any two extra people might I add... We have J: Who firmly insists on having a different pair of shoes to match every outfit. We also have Cash: Who, like his father, is a fan of wardrobe changes, as well as bringing 4 or 5 stuffed animal friends, books, and TWO play cell phones (one for business, one for pleasure) all for a measly two night get away. So instead of only having to fight my own inner diva battle by shrinking my duffle bag from a week’s worth of clothes to 4 days worth (again for a measly two night trip!), I’m being faced with fighting the war against Nike and Build-A-Bear’s as well. Once again, this trip is about relaxation.. WOOOHHSAHHHH!
